Parents
The 2008 Parent Handbook is now online. To save printing costs, this publication has been put into PDF format here.
Zero Tolerance Policy
All of the coaches, referees, board members, and others who help run this region are volunteers. We do the best we can to make the season fun, safe, and educational for your children. The region will not tolerate parents yelling at or abusing these volunteers in any fashion.
If you, as a parent, have a problem with a coach or referee, please:
- Express your concern calmly to the coach or referee.
- If you are not satisfied with the answer from the coach or referee, do not "get into it" with them. Instead, please send an email to Matt Anglin, the Coach Administrator, if the issue is with a coach, or Steve Reiter, the Referee Administrator, if the issue is with a referee.
- If you are still not satisfied, please contact Kim Anglin, the Regional Commissioner.
If you have a problem with a different volunteer (not a coach or referee), then please contact Kim Anglin, the Regional Commissioner.
When contacting an administrator or the RC, please include in your email:
- When the incident occurred
- With whom (name of coach, or if referee, which game it was at (i.e., Jesse Owens East, 10AM))
- The nature of the incident
- The result of your discussion with the coach or referee
- Any other information which may be pertinent to the incident.
